“The emerging and missional church movements have raised decisive questions about what it means to embody the Christian faith in a post-Christian and postmodern world. A common reactionary response asserts orthodoxy at the expense of being missional and contextual; those at the other end of the spectrum emphasize generosity at the expense of fidelity to “the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints” (Jude 3).
